Issue after update  en

I did the updates today that were released. Since then my program has crashed several times. The biggest issue I have is that on my main page I have some vertical thumb nails in a gallery. When the website is accessed those images go extremley wide almost half the wideth of the website for each side. If I use the home button on my page it does it again. If I do that a few times while in preview it crashes the program. I uploaded a older version of my website that never had that issue and it does it as well. If I remove the vertical thumb nail gallery the issue isnt there. I want those galleries as they are a big part of my web site.

Again this issue only started after the update today.

Thanks

Joe

That would be great to transfer it to you with the service you provided but I would need an email address to send it to.

I also created a sample website with next to nothing on it and it does the same thing if you hit the home button.

Also on my website if you scroll to the bottom and then back up to the top  the menu will disapear now and only show up once you afre at the bottom not the top.

Hello Joe,

for the menu has been fixed with the new update (14.0.6.2) released today.

For the Gallery, please export the project .iwzip and with the Wetransfer service generate the download link (see my screenshot).

Checked out the website on 3 other computers today at different places and had the same result with image issues on both side bars.

Riccardo, perhaps to make it easier to identify the problem, Joe has created a test project with little more in it than the problem thumbnails. I have opened this in WX5 Pro v14.0.6.2 and the problem persists.

When the site first loads, the thumbnails are not constrained and spread across the page, on a slow connection this is a slow process. The problem is also momentarily present whenever the home button is pressed (to reload the home page). The problem exists in the preview but is made worse when online. Interestingly the problem does not exist where the width of the thumbnails is constrained eg when placed in the sidebar.

This was not an issue in v14.0.5.3 and earlier.

The test project is attached

In case it helps the developers, in the small "new project 8.iwzip" attached above, if the thumbnails are hidden on subsequent pages, the problem disappears.

Similarly (& only in PRO), with the thumbnails not hidden on subsequent levels the problem only exists if there is a break next to the thumbnails, remove the break and the page behaves correctly.

Joe Trifoli uses Evolution and it was he who discovered that hiding the cell with the thumbnails for lesser resolutions resolved the issue.

Hope that helps.
