Additional character appears on web page

I have recently upgraded to WebSite X5 Evolution 14.
The narrative on the Homepage of http://www.northwoodhills.co.uk/index.html should display:
"Membership only costs £3.00 per year per household, for this fee you get"
Whilst composing, the preview image looks identical but the online version displays:
"Membership only costs £3.00 per year per household, for this fee you get"
The online page always displays "Â" before "£" wherever I insert the £ character.
I have tried different fonts but the result is always the same.

Which text encoding is active on your server?
wx5 uses unicode utf-8.
If I switch manually in the browser from west to unicode the indicator is correct.
