Both v8 and v9 can connect to PayPal automatically and work in quite the same way. As in v8 you can use the payment system you want and enter the HTML code for the paynow button.

I think you need to do the same you did in v8 also in v9 adding a new payment system and adding your html code.

I do not understand why Incomedia is not able or willing to integrate interface for the other payment provider than paypal. Other supplier for shop software, like mondo media, offer several modules for different payment provider as add on for price of 29 Euro. I would be happy to get and pay for such add from Incomedia for our shop .

We would like to add other payment system for free, not ask money for that. WebSite X5 costs 69EUR and it's quite strange to ask quite the price of the software for that.Wink

The reason why we used PayPal is that we mainly have EU customers and Google is not commonly used here yet. It is starting now to be known and used (some time ago it was not possible to use it Undecided).

Actually I can suggest you 3 ways:

  • wait for us to get it free!
  • use the 'Other payment System' and add the HTML code for the Pay Now Button
  • use my simple suggestion

Suggestion that works for any other payment system

I never tested it but I know that using PayPal this is possible.

  1. Add 'Google CheckOut' as payment system from Step4
  2. set as the text of the email a sentence like this "please access to this URL to pay. Please enter here the Order Number and the amount you have to pay".

Any user could choose this payment system and receive, as email, this info on how and where to pay.

The URL must be your Google Checkout Account Page where any user can directly pay on your account reporting their Order Number they get from your shopping cart.

Please have a look at this URL (we use) of our PayPal Account to see if you can do that in Google also:

Yes, you're right. For this reason we're interested on adding more other payment systems. As you can see from the software, we already add a dropdown list for the payment systems: now there are only 2 (PayPal and Other) but we used a dropdown list because we can add there new systems easily.

I'll keep you updated Tongue out

As my bank -Westpac does not recognise X5 as a proper link the only way to attach the X5 website to my bank is to go off the X5 website and link to another shopping cart like Zen cart which is recognised by my bank and has a direct link already established. This is a pity as this will hold back the growth of X5 as a website builder.

I see, thank for your info.

Well I think it's natural: because there are really many systems and softwares that permits to create shopping cart, your bank just chose a few of them. I'll see if we can investigate on that. Thanks.
