after download the latest up date, when I try to open the project i get the following message (see photo) the same thing happen to all my 4 project - So unable to do any update

Luca, was this an update of v15 or was it an update from v14 up to v15?
When you moved to v15, did you export from v14 to create an iwzip and then import the iwzip, or did you mistakenly open the v14 project directly?
And lastly. If you create a new project do you have this problem? If not, I would immediately go to the list of optional objects, click manage and update.

this was the last v15 update - as i transfer from v14 to v15 no problem. I have to try the new project

OK I have tried a new project I get the same problem. Where I find the list of optional objects?
Luca, I suggest you download the latest version and re-install it (click on download under your profile, top right this screen), it is possible your update did not install correctly.

downloaded the last version, and installed but the problem is still there. and with this problem I can not access the optional objects or any thing else,the project is locked.
Luca, does v14 still work as expected? And if you are using Windows 10, have you restarted the PC recently? Can you try riunning WX5 as administrator (right click, run as admin)
It may be 3rd party software blocking WX5. Can you temporarily disable or uninstall any anti-virus/spyware/firewall software and see if Wx5 v15 runs?
To the best of my knowledge v15 has exactly the same requirements as v14, I am not aware of others having difficulty with v15 if v14 runs (although one user recently found Malwarebytes had taken a dislike to WX5 v15)

Yes using windows 10 , disable antivirus no change, also v14 same problem, as administrator same problem.

It will be no consolation, but the problem is NOT WX5 (an update to v15 can not affect v14). Whatever happened was coincidental - and if I was a betting man I would suspect a Windows Update.
I would go to the control panel and check no unexpected software has been installed lately, if that doesn't shine a light I would uninstall any 3rd party protection (not defender or Windows firewall), if still no success I would start windows without any startup program, this is one link, but google will offer more assistance https://www.groovypost.com/howto/disable-startup-programs-windows-10/
Still not happy? You could go to Control Panel, System, System Protection and restore your PC to a time before the problem started - you will then need to upgrade WX5 v15 again.

One project did work, but not the optimized one.I did chek the optional object, but no improvment. In the end I did restore the PC to a previous time, and now everything working fine. Lot of work to reinstall .... I think we can close this discussion, thanks
Luca - you may wish to mark a post as correct in case this can help others. I am pleased you resolved the issue, I am more pleased the problem was not WX5 :-)
