Hi,
My new site is starting to take shape (I still have to sort the pdf question out) and I am trying to sort my postage out.
I have set it up for the uk (all orders will be sent according to their weight), but how do I set up overseas postage. obviously the charges are going to be higher and differ according to whether an order is from Europe or the rest of the world.
I am going to be using the standard Royal Mail service but can't see a way of setting up the cart so that the correct postage is charged.
As always thank you for your help.

Kevin, not long ago I had to set up postage rates for Australia wide and a selection of overseas destinations. We (the owner and myself) chose to set a default postage value for one or many products delivered in Australia by Australia Post in full awareness of the fact that for one or 2 products the owner would break even/make a small profit, but for large orders there would be a postage loss. However, this loss was more than offset by the profit margin on a multi product order.
We then set postage for a number of countries (NZ, US, Canada, England, etc) and provided a forenote on the screen that for other destinations the purchaser had to contact us first (with a direct link to the feedback form).
I do not know what you are selling, nor do I know how critical exact postage is in your case (or how slim your profit margins are), but given the limitations of WX5 in this regard and the potential of selling more products, perhaps a shift in mindset could provide the solution?
I am sure that others on this site have better solutions, and I look forward to seeing what they might be.
(we no longer sell overseas - some people in some countries just take way too much time to understand an idea, concept or simple installation instructions :-)
