Hi all,

Since couple of days it takes website x5 very long before it lounches. it stays like at least 2 min at the boot screen loading and when I get inside I cant download any objects I purchased before in Object management screen. it says" it was not possible to connect to internet or incomedia server, this could be a temporarily problem, we suggest you to tray again later." I have this now for the last 4 days. I installed windows 10 freshly and then website x5 pro 15 and i still have the same problem. what could be the problem??

Are you experiencing any other Internet Issues??

When I enter WX5 I seldom wait for the advert screen, as soon as I see the green arrow I click it and select the project I wish to work on, but if you cannot update or download optional objects have you tried (temporarily) disabling or uninstalling Malware/AntiVirus and firewall??

Esahc - now i can download the objects from objects management and loading still takes up to 40seconds while before the major windows 10 update after april 30 it was working flowlessly. I dont have any new antivirus software installed except the one which comes with windows 10 itself. this is very weird.

With very little knowledge of your PC it would be foolish of me to suggest I know why it is going slower, however, I love a challenge!!

Which version of Windows 10 are you up to? (click on settings, about, go to the bottom menu option). I have had recent experience of people moving to version 1709 and immediately suffering performance issue because there were a heap of updates, followed by the new (1803) version downloading.

So, before blaming WX5 please ensure EVERY available update is downloaded and installed (a painful process which takes hours if you are not already up-to-date). If updates are downloading this will cripple your internet speed.

Is your PC aging? If so I recommend downloading and running CCLEANER (free - & it cleans out the crap), and I can't recommend it's sibling "defraggler" highly enough. Does the system occasionally appear to freeze with constant HD activity? If this is the case, run CMD as administrator and then type chkdsk c: /r to check and repair the HD as necessary.

As I said - all guesses, but I do know that WX5 has not slowed on my PC, so the problem is elsewhere?

Enjoy :-)

PS - if you are a bit paranoid, you may wish to run Malwarebytes in case you have a bit of malware which can wreak havoc on an internet connection. Personally I would then uninstall Malwarebytes because the extra layer of protection is an extra layer of strain on the CPU.
