Hello Bill
Probably because some pages has a scrollbar to the left and others don't.
This is dependent on the page-length.
Kind regards

Bill, if your site is online, could you please provide a link?
Irrespective, I have encountered this issue on a number of projects and in my case it was because I had added effects to cells and or text or images in the header. The effects I chose meant that the object was momentarily larger and either directly causing the page to appear to jump, or momentarily creating a RH scroll bar which caused the page to jump. If you have added effects on any objects, you might wish to revert to a simple fade in as I have done?
Please let us know if this turns out to be the cause.

Hi John/Eshc.
Thanks for your advice.
Upon analysis I find that I have differing page lengths, and a whole host of " objects that exceed their working area."
I have acouple of effects on some pages but they are fade only. Do you think tat the photoe's should be sized to fit the space and not have them auto fit.
The URL is:http://www.psychology-counselling.com
Intrestingly, Fire Fox is better than Edge and the I pad is stable.!!!!!

Hello Bill
I had a "lucky" guess :-)
And you may have guessed I meant the scrollbar to the RIGHT.
There is nothing to do about this - only thing you can do, is to make all pages with a length that makes the scrollbar appear. This way you will have no "bumping".
Kind regards
