Hi I have a problem with the CSV viewer. I have my excel sheet filled in with the data I wish to use and have saved it as a CSV file. When I add it to a web page and preview everything shows ok apart from spaces and the £ sign instead of showing these it replaces them with small gray coloured question marks?
How do I get it to show the original content?
thanks
william

check here for other ideas: https://www.labnol.org/software/embed-tables-spreadsheet-data-in-websites/7435/

Hi Andre, I will give that a try. The customer emails me the data in an excel csv file and I use the viewer to quickly add it into a page. I will see how your suggestion works out and post back.
cheers
Hello William
You could also use the Google Docs ( spreadsheet)
You can then have a spreadsheet that is instantly online when edited. Google docs gives the code for putting the sheet on a page.
Then - when someone that has access to the google account, has editet the sheet, the edited data will be online when editing ends.
If it is just to show data, you could also simply save it/print it as a PDF file. This way it will look exactly as the output from the Excel.
Kind regards

Hi John,
I have used google docs suggested by yourself in the past and they work well but I have purchased the CSV viewer and thought I would try and use it. Google docs or tables are better in my opinion since the viewer is limited somewhat.
thanks for your help,
william
