I want to activate GST instead of VAT in my Shopping Cart. I don't know how to do it? Can anybody help me?

In India, VAT is past and the new Tax is GST. So it's necessary to improve GST from VAT so that my customer can know about the rates of GST

Hi Anirban, you have to edit the language settings in Step 1 changing references to vat to gst.

Find the languages setting and click on the icon next to it, you will then have a table of references and values where you can make changes in the right hand table.

Regards!

Dave

ANIRBAN, you have replaced every occurance of VAT as suggested by Dave?

Be aware that when working on your project it will still be referred to as VAT, but in preview and when published it should say GST

Hi Anirban, in Australia we have GST and not VAT, while I guarantee if you change VAT to GST in the language file, save your changes and view / publish your website, references to VAT in your pages (not the website x5 application) will be changed.

The website x5 application still references VAT but who cares, it is the published pages that the user accesses that are important. Can you please confirm that this what you have done?

Regards!

Hi Anirban,

you can follow Dave and Esahc's suggestions to solve this issue. Please consider that by changing the label "VAT" to "GST" only the website itself will be affected. In the software, VAT will still be displayed, but once you preview your website you will have GST instead of VAT.

Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.
