Hi,
I had loaded on my PC WebSite X5 ver 15, 15,1, and 16.1 (unaware that when I had updated the versions that the old version was not unistalled automatically).
I have been updating my website and making backups as I have gone along, I only noticed today that when I started up WebSite X5 that it was loading into ver 15.1 and not 16.1,
So I unstalled the two old versions and downloaded the latest ver 16.1 from the WebSite X5 website. only to find the attached error message when I try to open my project.
Now I am unable to open any of my projects or backups and can no longer get to my website.
Please help as I have people waiting to use the site.
My website is - http://whickhamlibrary.co.uk

Hello David,
Every project will be shown in the older version unless you edit or export the project with the newer version. For example I have created a website with version 15.1. When I installed the new version 16.1.1 and opened the project folder, it was showing that version 15.1, not version 16. After that I opened the project with version 16.1 and edited it and after that it was showing version 16.1
If you have your backup copy then open your software and import you project on the software. May be it will show the version 15.1. But after openning, when you edit your project and save it, it will be automatically show version 16.1.1
Best of luck
Thank you

I have tried these things, but of course to see the backups I need to open the projects and this I cannot do, please refer to my attachment as this is still the error message I get every time I try to load a project.
I have tried changing names of projects, I have tried to import but still get this message.
What permissions does it need to open a project?
Hello David
You should find the "old" iwzip-file.
Then in V 16 import this file. You will then see the project in the project-list.
When you open this project, a copy of the project is automatically created ( for the v 16 ) and you should be able to work on that.
Important is, that you find the correct iwzip.

Thanks everyone,
Problem solved, I just uninstalled all versions of Wesite X5 software and all files and information having anthing to do with them (in windows folders - programmes and user files in the AppData folder).
Then did a clean install of the latest version of Website X5, pointed it at my website folders and Bingo back in business.
However I am still unable to optomise using the Website X5 optimiser, I have the latest update but it comes up with an error every time I try to use it. Has anyone else got this problem?
