Greetings!
The problem is:
An error message occurred during use:
"Incomedia website x has encountered a problem so it will stop."
Then I started the program again.
I wanted to start the project and I got this error message:
"Error loading the project Error in XML document (0, 0)."

A search of the tips did show me how to rename the backup that was in my Backup folder for this project.  I was successful at renaming the backup and getting the project back.  However, I lost a whole day's worth of changes (pretty massive ones).  So, I guess I learned my lesson that I need to be backing this program up manually????

I am using the most recent version (16.2.1) of Evolution.  Unless I am missing something, there should be a backup that occurs automatically????

Sorry folks..  Just completely furstrated taht I have lost a whole days worth of changes and continue to use a program that keeps crashing frequently.  Am I the only one has had repeat issues with this software????

Daniel, until recently the only time a backup was made in Evo was when you upload your site to the web, unfortunately there was no other way of creating backups between website uploads. Now (in the most recent editions) you can click on the down arrow next to save (the floppy disk) and select create a backup copy at any time.

But please, do not rely on the built in backup routine. There seems to be no guarantee the project can be restored in all circumstances.

The good news is you can export your website to create the perfect backup (one that is much more reliable than the built in backup, one that can be opened on any other PC with the same or later version of WX5 and a backup you can easily rename at time of creation and therefore keep multiple versions)

You need to go to step5 Export/export the project

You can also choose where you would like the iwzip file saved and WX5 will remember this.

Please export often
