Website X5 Support,

I have created my own website template in Website X5 Evolution version 13 and previous versions. I have no problems in working in version 13. However, in version 14-16 I have problems in the Template Structure screen to change the colour of the header. The menu is not an option in that screen. Could you please help me and explain where I change the colour of both header and menu.

Kind regards

Hans Bruun-Jensen

Hello Ani

When I choose "Select Template Structure" I can choose "Structure Type" "Header and Footer" (I have no "Header Content" headline). There I can choose "Header" and "Header Background". The latter is of no interest. In "Header" I can't change the colour of the header. Obviously the header and menu function is diffrent in ver 13 and the subsequent versions. How do I solve that problem?

Regards Hans

Hello Hans,

Follow the steps

Open Website X5>Select Your Project or Create a New Project with Blank Template>Go to Step 2: Template>Select Template Structure

Then Select Header from the 'Page Section' Dropdown>Then Select your desired colour and if you like then you can change the height of the header

Save it and Go back to Step 2>Then Select Template Content

Then Select your Menu bar and Click on edit or double click on the Menu bar to edit it

Now Select Background from 'Menu Item' Dropdown>Change the colour and opacity you like>Then you can change the colour of Menu Item, Item on Mouseover and Current Page section in the same way>Then save it

Hope this will help you. Feel free to keep posting for further queries

Thank you

Hello Ani,

I am sorry that I did not react before.

I overlooked that the conversion program creates an image file of the old header and menu from version 13. When I deleted that file the problem was solved.

Thank' for your interest in my problem.

Best regards Hans
