Analytics: Cannot connect to database

I can not connect to the admin panel at https://www.mysite.com/admin

After login I get the message Analytics: Cannot connect to database.

Please help with this?

Hi Robert.

Can you login successfully with the credentials given though? If it is so, most probably you've inserted the wrong Database data into the software, and this is the reason why the connection to the Database cannot be done correctly.

Please consult your hosting's support as well, and double check all the Database data in order to make sure that it is 100% correct.

Should it still not work after, get back to me here with what the support reported to you so that we might investigate further

I restalled the database from scratch, and is now working just fine.

Here https://wsx5.afsoftware.fr/viewforum.php?f=110 you will find a nice tool tool and documentation to help you to test database connectivity.

Sometimes very useful to be sure of ISP parameters databsae to establsih a good connection with WSX5
