I purchased a Full Calendar object and I imported an ics file to it but surprisingly enough, it wouldn't show my events after uploading only the start time.
What must have gone wrong? Suggestions are welcome.

Hi P.O.,
The Calendar object has been broken since late June (i.e. last version that was working was 15.2.3) and appointments will not be displayed, if you purchased the object in the last 30-days then should request a refund. There are a number of posts on this topic, while a better alternative is LuxCal that provides better functionality and works - see links:
Link here : http://www.luxsoft.eu/
And a useful link here : http://calendarforum.dk/
The "full calendar" is useless for most purposes.
Kind Regards!
Hello P O
Dave is right. The LuxCal is 1000 times better and it functions. And it is free. And it has good support.
Hi P O.
There are many reasons why the Full Calendar might be displaying the wrong information after importing the ICS file, and most need attention per specific case.
Would it be possible for you right now to attach a screenshot that clearly shows what the original Calendar looked like and what is actually showing in the FullCalendar item? Also share an URL to your website if possible.
This can help greatly in understanding what could be going wrong with the import of the ics file.
Please keep me posted here
Thank you
Stefano
Hi Stefano,
As far as I am concerned it is broken and have seen nothing else to the contrary or received an update from yourself since this last post https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/195647. In addition, as requested I provided an idea post that like many has seen no traction https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/193230.
I believe I last tested with the 16.2.1 release and there has been no reference in the release notes to this problem being resolved, where the calendar object was flakey before it stopped working completly and does not appear to have been resolved. When I state it was flakey, multiple calendar (ICS) files would not be displayed and it was only if all appointments / events were contained in the one file would they be displayed.
So will look to continue using the LuxCal calendar until Inconmedia fix the problem introduced back in late June / improve the functionality, while believe it is false and misleading to continue to sell something that is not working with others posting similar problems.
Kind Regards!
Dave
Hi Dave,
I can confirm that the issue that you've reported on your topic specifically is unfortunately still being worked on, and thus there is no current update on that specifically.
The issue might not be the same for every user though, and this is why a proper analysis of each case is still necessary.
I will update you on your topic as soon as that matter is closed.
Thank you
Stefano
