Continue shopping  en

Is it possible to specify a page to go to from the continue shopping button in the cart options?

I have my site with a sample cart and no header template as I need a different image on each page. The problem I have is when you continue shopping from the cart it normally takes you to the home page I think...

Maybe if some one could check out my site and see where I am going wrong or if there is a way to select the last page visited while shopping to return to?

Andy, I don't know sorry. I suspect it's because you have 2 separate shops. I have a couple of sites with shops but only one list on each site (eg. https://www.gutterpumper.com.au), I do not believe I ever set anything up, but continue shopping simply opens the shop again.

I will mark your post for Incomedia's attention, I suspect I will learn something too.

Hi Esahc.

There is only one shop, just split onto 2 pages thats all...

I will see if the Incomedia team have any suggestions, thanks for forwarding to them for me. Will keep this thread open too.

Thanks

Andy

Andy, you are of course quite right - a direct link has now been added to the project and will be online soon. I must admit it never occured to me, as the author I always added an object to get back to the cart and then deleted it if I did not require it.

Thank you

Hi Andy.

I most probably believe this to be due to the fact that your "cart" buttons are currently set not to directly move you to the cart page. This way, the button will be unable to get you directly back to the page you wish.

Feel free to test this out for your situation and let me know if that does it. Deactivate the following:

And let me know the result here

Thank you

Stefano

Hi Stefano.

Yes that has worked fine thank you.

I assumed that you could add the items without viewing the cart each time and after viewing the cart via a checkout button this would take you back.

All working OK now thank you.

Andy
