When I create a blog I can preview it while in Website X5 17, however when I publish it and go to my website and try and view I get the error 500 - Internal server error. Any help would be appreciated.

This appears to be a problem specific to version 17 as if I publish this in version 16 all is well.
Hi Jim
This could be related to the PHP version of your hosting.
What version are you currently running? Since v17 came out, the minimum version of PHP needed in order to run the software correctly is 5.6
If you're in doubt, contact your hosting's support and ask them to upgrade that for you. It should then work correctly just like v16
Let me know if you manage to solve this
Thank you

Stefano,
Thanks for your reply. I'm basically out of luck because my hosting will not upgrade past 5.5.17. I guess I'm DOA if I want to use the blog feature with version 17.
Hi Jim
I'm afraid so. The v17 won't unfortunately be able to work correctly with a version older than 5.6
If I may suggest so though, I would recommend considering switching your current hosting to one which offers a more modern version of PHP for its customers.
5.6 is already considered old since the new 7.x version came out, which most hostings already support. These newer version provides much faster website performances, as well as security protections.
Hosting your websites on such an older PHP version might prove dangerous and penalizing for your final website
I hope I've been helpful
Stefano
