Hi Ricardo!
All the Evo 9 functions are built in HTML5, but not every browser supports it. At the moment we are keeping and using also flash, that is more common, then, step by step we will introduce new functions in HTML 5 according to the browser compatibility and progress.

Samantha thanks for the quick answer, but i think all browsers by now are supporting it, Firefox, IE9, Chrome and Safari, please make an update ...soon, making slideshows and video in HTML5, i must confess i was a bit disapointed with this issue, i´m a website x5 user and when i´ve receive your newsletter telling about evo9 i was excited with the big propaganda about html5...let´s face it...Flash is dead...
I know Ricardo, but we have to try to please everyone and many users still use older browsers like IE 7 and 8 for example. Therefore it isn't that easy nor simple to change things. We will eventually manage!

WEBSITE X5 EVOLUTION 9 SLIDESHOWS MUST WORK IN BOTH FLASH AND HTML5
Add JQUERY Content Slider And Content Editor To WebSite X5 Evolution 9
Would Be Great To See A JQUERY Content Slider And Content Editor In WebSite X5 Evolution 9, An Added Bounus Would Be That All The SkideShow Options Work In Both Flash And Html5
Agreed. The slideshow needs to work in HTML5. Putting it in flash is so backwards thinking. I am greatly appalled at this apparent lack of thought.
Chris you are correct..... The slideshow MUST work in both as NOT all browsers are supporting the "FULL" HTML5 coding! Even IE 9 is NOT supporting HTML5 fully just yet!
"The World Wide Web Consortium has indicated that the next version of HTML will not become an officially recommended standard until 2014."
Flash will not die methinks as it will affect too many software companies!
