Hello,

I'm trying to use a php scritp to generate the .ics file for the Full Calendar real-time.  In other words my php script will pull events from MySql real-time so events will show on Full Calendar as i add them to MySql.  This is for vacation property availability calendar.

Has anyone ever got something like this working with the Full Calendar?

Thanks,
Mitch

I think it is better and easyer to use the kalendar of luxsoft, it has many features, it's free (except for a very small icon in your calendar)

https://www.luxsoft.eu/

I am not sure if what you want is possible, but check there site, and or ask them.

They are very helpfull.

And it is easy to incorporate in x5 as well.

I would follow Andre's advice. And you will find out, that the LuxCal calendar has a booking feature, where you can have a settings on some categories where overlap is not allowed. This could be perfect for cottage rentals or so.

And the calendar has different views.

One view is matrix view, that is designed for booking overview.

An example here : http://www.bramminginfo.dk/kalb3473/?cP=9

You can see an example of the calendar used as booking calendar here : http://bawbawl2p.org/?page_id=375

The calendar and the event-displays are very easy to integrate on a webpage.

You can see some more here : http://calendarforum.dk/index.html

The LuxCal calendar comes in a version for MySQL database ( M-version), and a version for an embedded SQLite database ( L-version).

The L-version can be downloaded, unpacked, uploaded to server and installed ready to run - in 5 minutes. Well this is for an experienced user. A new user that will read something about the calendar and installation, will probably need 15 minutes.
