Upgraded to 17.0.11 - opened my project (v16.2.1) - chose backup option but ended up with the message in the attachment. Not sure what to do now. How can I go back to 16.2.1 if problem can't be resolved.
Thanks
Pat

If you open a project from v16 then x5 will ask to make a backup copy, this is standard set to on.
So you still have a copy that works with v16.
Try to start v17 as admin right mouse button or reinstall v17 as user "stuar"
It seems that this path belongs to a user and that x5 is installed as another user.

Hi Andre - I have tried running as admin and reinstalled the software but still have the same problem.
Appreciating that I have a project that works with 16 how do I go back to the v16 executable?
I am getting out of my depth!
Thanks
Pat
goto top right next to your name pulldown, select download, select version -> download -> install.
Check if the path is accesable with explorer or so. Ther must something there that prevents x5 from working.
Else if v16 is up and running, export the project in step5, then import the exported project in v17 and see if that helps.

Hi Andre - thanks I reverted back to v16 last night and it works fine and the path is accessible by explorer. I will try export and import over the weekend. Hopefully that will work.
