Mail form not working

Hi, I uploaded my site to Bluehost and tried to send mail from my contact page and got a 500 error. I checked the error log and see:

[14-Mar-2019 15:14:07 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting ')' in /home1/mynutrk6/public_html/res/access.inc.php on line 8
How do I fix this?

Hello.I recommend you enable on server PHP 7.1 for your site.

How would that help a syntax error?
This will allow your hosting to correctly understand what is written in the files of your site.
For correct work sites on WebSite X5 Evolution 17 your hosting should be at least PHP 5.6.
Have you tried changing PHP to 7.1?
P.S. It is also worth noting that PHP 7 is faster than 5.
