for a new website we are creating, we need a need a text box that the client can fill out (free text) on the product page, and when he/she clicks on the buy now button, this text should be added to the order form and should be send together with the order to the seller

to give a fictive example : the client buys a card, and types in the text box the letter for his or her beloved one

IMPORTANT : we do NOT want to do it through a WORD or TXT or PDF file or so(that can be added by the client) because that does not fit the concept of the file, it's really important that on the product page (above the by now / add to cart button, the clients can immediately type his / her text

we work with X5 PRO 2019.1

does anyone sees a solution / possibility to do so ?

thanks in advance for any help / advise

You can insert a custom box at the address, where an unformatted tile text can be entered.

thanks for the hint, but then the user is already in the last step of ordering ?

for our site it is essential that the client has the box available on the product page (first page of the site) and can click on the buy now / add to cart button (and then complete the order + pay)

Hi there!

Unfortunately, this possibility is not available, I am sorry about this. I would like to suggest that you open an "Idea" Post where you describe to us the feature you would like to see implemented in the future releases of WebSite X5.

Thanks! Kind regards.
