I just bought the "Full Calendar" object and it appears to be broken and it appears to have been broken for a while (Previous Full Calendar Discussion ). How do I get a refund for the "Full Calendar" Object?
All the "Full Calendar" object generates is an emtpy calendar.

Hello. In this video, I showed an example of setting this object. Do you still see nothing in calendar?
Author
Thanks Paul and Aleksej,
I still see nothing, I created two events using ical.marudot.com like Aleksej did, the event show up in Outlook and Windows Calendar but not in the "Full Calendar" object in Website X5. When I mean they don't show up in Website X5, I mean the "Preview", the calendar has not been loaded to a web server. So it is possible that the preview in Website X5 may be broken.

I loaded XAMPP and ran it off a localhost server and it worked, so that means that it is the "PREVIEW' that is broken. This still means that it is broken.

Using XAMPP and localhost does not seem to work either, the event links show up in the from "localhost/<link>".
I got "Full Calendar" to make things easier, I did not want to patch/hack/debug "Full Calendar" to get it to work, I could have done a calendar myself in less time.
Craig
Bear in mind that it is impossible to preview certain items within WebSite X5 on account of the need for files to be uploaded first to the server. When you ran XAMPP you were employing a local server. But whether local or remote, some things just cannot be previewed and tested without full server functionality. PHP scripts are another example.
The thread is marked for the attention of the Incomedia staff.

This maybe true but based on previous discussions, I am assuming it worked before. Preview also acts like a localhost server, XAMPP complained that Website X5 had port 8080 locked when I tried to start Tomcat. As for PHP in Preview, it maybe that Website X5 has no way to start PHP. If there was a way to start PHP on Website X5's webserver it could be test too.
Upload the site to the hosting. In reference to events using relative paths, not absolute. In the video tutorial, I showed it.For example:

Thanks Aleksej, I see that now but when it comes to events i would also want to link to something external to my website.
Just saw something quick flash on the screen saying some about limited function in Preview. With everything going on my page I missed it, it was so fast.
Craig
"but when it comes to events i would also want to link to something external to my website." - As far as I know, this cannot be done. But you can create a separate page for the event and place a link to external sites on it.
Hello Craig
You should take a look at the free LuxCal calendar.
With this you can online create events. For an event you can make links. The links can be made as text so it is not the full URL that is shown, but a clickable text.
For an event you can also have images shown and attachments as images and PDF's.
The LuxCal calendar is easy to install and handle. It can easily be integrated in X5.
There is also the free add-on's to the calendar. The displays. With a display you can show "news" or "Upcoming events" or whatever. In the displays can shown images, that can be made clickable. When the image is clicked you are directed to the URL specified for the image. The text can flow left or right to the image.
Images can also be inserted in the text.
The calendar can also import and export iCal files - but it is much easiers to make an event online.
