Hi Judith! Smile

Was your Evo 8 up to date? What version did you have?

You need to batch export your project from Evo 8 (step 5) and import it into Evo 9.

I wish to remind you that you can keep both evo 8 and Evo 9 on the same computer and work with both at the same time if you wish. It could be useful while importing a project into the new version. Evo 9 works differently from Evo 8, therefore something could change in the project because of the different settings, try to adjust things, you will discover all the new functions (200)!

If you need more help. please read the following Tips&Tricks: http://www.websitex5.com/download/v9/conversion_it.pdf

I had the same problem, e-commerce removed and it imported from 8 to 9 ... is this a fault of the program? or is it due to incompatibility? If fault is there a fix? I have also noticed in preview of some of my web pages that images are there but when I edit the frames the images are not present. This seems to appear for images imported into the text editor .... is this a bug? Is there a fix.

Evo 8 and Evo 9 have different settings. Evo 8 sometimes created the same ID for different products, therefore an error comes out in Evo 9 because every product should have it's own ID. Everything worked well in Evo 8 but Evo 9 uses the correct system therefore it is much better if you create your e-commerce with Evo 9.

If you edit something in your page then select preview but you do not see what you have just done, please press CTRL+ select preview in the program. This will refresh the page! Smile
