Customise text and style on Blog/Article page  en

X5 Pro 2019.2.7

Decided on a theme for the web site and am now trying to get the blog into decent order...

The Blog main page is adequately cusomisable and I can get a good result with the available settings (example):

However, when I get to the article page, I can't find anything which allows customisation and it's totally unreadable - including the prompts for comment:

Can anyone point me in a direction where I can figure out how to include boxes and backgrounds?

Many thanks in advance

Peter

Hello Peter,

You can custumize this in many ways, use the TAB's in the blog object ->step 3 at the special pages selection and the tab's within these tabs.

Use also the help in x5 if you have trouble (press F1)

or search this forum.

or goto your name top right, use the pulldown there , select download and download the manual.

Thanks Andre.

Unfortunately I can't get the page to look the same as the rest of the site with the controls you suggest.  Until I figure out a better option, I have just set the "Page Backgroung" to a solid colour; unfortunately gradient is not available.

I am spending the majority of my time with this product searching the help document, which does not appear to be totally consistent with the version of X5 that I am using :(

And as far as searching this forum, the search facility does not return anything relevant.  Try it yourself - search for "blog article page" - see what is returned for you.

Thanks again

Peter

Many thanks for this; certainly a whole lot better than the search here.  I did find a few things, but not what I need to do.  I guess I will just have to put up with what I have found so far :(

You're welcome, Peter.

There have been some improvements made to the search alogorithm over the last couple of days.  You will find significantly more results returned now, with greater accuracy too.
