That's normaal.

The websites files needs software from your provider (PHP) these are not (standard) on your pc. And the standard location from where the software works is also different locally.

So it's best to use the preview, there are 3 level's for other way's to get you website localy viewed.

The way you did it, but changes are thing's don't work good.

the standard preview is the easyest and best recommended.

the last one is to copy the web adress from preview and add this to a seperatly started browser.

But the best is uploaad and check live, alway's recommended if you have made changes! Don't foregt to press F5 in your browser before checking the youre latest changes.
