Need some guidance in adding Payment Gateway processing to my Shopping Cart  en

Hello all, it has been some time since have had to ask for help using Website X5.  I am still so VERY thankful I bought this product as it has made my life so much easier!  Keep up the GREAT work!

So now on to business.  I am over here in the US and just finally got a credit card processing capability.  Today was stellar and I got my FIRST SALE - WooHoo! laughing

The only way I can handle payments currently is to log into my Virtual Terminal application on the Internet which is not a big deal.  But the next step obviously is how to figure out how to interface the payment processing on my website through my credit card processing vendor.

Let me give a little background just in case someone out in the community might recognize my provider and has a quick pointer or two.

First, my website is:  https://fsasfirearms.com/ and I am an online firearms retailer (hope I don't offend anyone due to the nature of my business, but it is what it is...)

My Credit Card processing vendor is ePN (E Processing Network) and while they have their own gateway service, from what I understand they do "Authorize.net" emulation.

Here is a link to ePN's help area for information on integrating:  https://www.eprocessingnetwork.com/developers.html#an

I know this is not going to be a 1-2-3 and off you go process.  I have decent programming skills, but I am pretty new to website development and HTML, etc.  That's whyI love X5 Pro so much!

I am trying to avoid spending a lifetime trying to learn how to do this as I need to focus on getting my products on the site.

If somebody out there has been through all of this and can kick-start me I would be grateful.

I remember reading some stuff in the discussion area about plugging the API stuff into the HTML code for Pay Now Button.  Is it that simple?  Would really be great if that is all it took.

Anyone out there who has been through this before?

First, my thanks to Alex for responding to this and laying the groundwork.  I have studied his exmaple and have been able to come up with an ALMOST complette solution for the HTML code.

Perhaps when Alex returns from his vacation he will be able to instruct me on how to tweak the HTML code a bit further so that I can dynamically populate the couple of values I need on the form, and then have the customer just fill in Billing Info and Credit Card Info.

I have attached a copy of a Web Form that my Payment Processor (ePN) has available as an option when I log into my merchant account. (I zipped the file to allow for the upload).

The only problem right now is that the customer has to manually enter the total number of items in the order, the total cost of the items, and then has to select a shipping method which currently can only enter a fixed dollar amount, and finally they have to select if they are a resident of Illinois in order to calculate sales tax.

What I need to be able to do is update the items, cost and shipping cost with the values from the Shopping Cart summary.

I am hoping that someone can look at the HTML code I supplied, and perhaps suggest how to accomplish this?

Thanks for any advice you can throw my way! smile
