Control of fonts  en

I've made my site title in Quicksand. Preview has been displaying it correctly so far, but now insists on displaying it in Tahoma(?) whatever font I select for the site title - how do I regain control?

Also, despite every box I can see being unchecked, the name I've given to each page (not an additional Title) appears in the same font (see attached pic). If I add a Title, this appears underneath. How can I remove the automatic name?

This is quite frustrating, and some advice would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

Barry

Barry, have you added Quicksand as a google font?

With the current versions of WX5 when you add a font it is related only to that specific project (in the old versions adding a google font was global and made the font available to all projects), so if this is a new project have you again added the font?

I believe that if you change the page text default font it will be used by the title object by default.

Hi,

Thanks for your input. Yes - I'm using Quicksand in other parts of the site - and the site title DID display in Quicksand before it changed itself. I find that I can change the title to other fonts, such as Times, without any problem, but it now refuses to display Quicksand as a Site Title.

Any suggestions more than welcome......Barry

Hello Barry

This issue might be related to a known problem with fonts. Please attempt this:

Create a new Text Object and write some text in it. Then, change that text's font to Quicksand and launch the preview again. Does it work there? Does it work on the Title as well now?

If yes, you should be able to remove the Text Object and be done with it

Please try this out and keep me posted here

Thank you

Stefano
