Questions about user license

I want to buy Website X5 Pro 2019.3, I have a question though:
- A year after my purchase, do I need to re-activate my license in order to keep using the software I purchased? Or is it a perpetual license?
I have doubt because I read that there are benefits only valid for one year (12 months).

The license is perpetual, you never have to re-activate. During the 1st 12 months you will also be entitled to any updates and new versions that are released (these are also perpetual).
After 12 months you can choose to continue your protection (usually at a very significant discount) or let it lapse. If you do not renew you can continue using what you have forever, but you will not be entitled to any further updates (even if one of the updates fixes a known issue in your version).
The only other advantage of "protection" at this time is "enhanced Incomedia response times" (in theory :-)

Roughly, how much would I have to pay 12 months from now (in order to continue the protection)?
Historically the discount was 50% but Incomedia can set any discount or otherwise. Irrespective, the choice will be yours at the time.
