I downloaded some items from the marketplace and I can't find out where to activate the items?

you can check your credits and items you bought in your panel here in the helpdesk, top right pulldown next to your name.
you can find the items where they should be located normaly as well, so templates in the template section and objects in the object management section.
in step4 top right manage button, then update view (for objects)
for templates check the templates (on start up new project) then use update button on top check licenced filter on the left.

They all say they're ready for use after updating the view, but they don't show up in the objects. How long does it take for them to show up?
if you bought something it should be directly available .
It helps if i know what you bought.

are you referring to the free Objects you got with this account or where they paid tools?
Have you updated the list and checked in the "licensed" section?
