Terms of sale listed twice in the shopping cart

I just read a post about a redundant tick box to agree to shopping terms in the cart process. Thread was
closed, so I am presenting my question here. Why are the terms showing twice? Is there a way for us,
the website authors, to trigger the terms to show just once?
And I am aware to have no terms show at all, just don't type in any terms. But they are a good closing note
to have for honest businesses. I do not make the check box mandatory, I just let whomever wants to read
them, read them. But I don't want to bore people with a rerun.

Related yes. But not about having to select the agree to terms box. I do not have the agree box on my site.
It is just listing the full written terms twice.

John, yes it is part of the same problem as referred to in the link I provided. I do not like the redundant summary either, but someone in Incomedia seems to think it is a good idea.
I have marked your thread for Incomedia's attention, perhaps if enough people complain about this poorly implemented feature they may fix it, to me it looks quite unprofessional.
... so...!?...

If it helps, I just created a link to my T&C's page so there is not vast amounts of text on the checkout pages.
see below, I am away to shorten mines completely. as there is a hyperlink there if the customer wants to read them..

Andy, graphic is a bit fuzzy to read. How did you add a hyperlink to the longer text for the terms?
Here you will find a solution in the penultimate entry (is marked). Only 1x terms and conditions are displayed.
