Update 2020.1 to 2020.2 Has a technical ISUE.????

1- I opened a project created using ver 16.3 with ver 2020.1 and ran a preview within website x5 ver 2020.1 and every thing seemed to work fine.
2- I exported the site (all the files) to the server. Tested it, it worked fine.
3- I updated to ver 2020.2. Opened the same project that was working in ver 2920.1 and I had an issue. I tried testing it on the server, and it did not work.
Here is a detailed discription of what I had.
The website consisted of one home page that had 2 Images of Arabic text (images only) one is the url link to my blog.
When I access the websight (on the server) I get the home page with out any problems.
When I click on the link for my blog, the explorer does not show the pages, but it shows the code text.
P. S. When I try the preview within website x5 ver 2020.2
The Hom page shows OK, when I click on my blog link only the panel shows the titles. But I can not access the contents and it does not show.

There was an issue recently with the blog, but I believe if you update your WebSite X5 installation to the latest version then you will find that the problem is resolved.
You can either follow the prompts to update when you first start WebSite X5, or else you can download the latest version here:

Please let us know if you still experience difficulty after updating to version 2020.2.4

I started having the problem whe I updated from version 2020.1.x to 2020.2.4
Problem has not been solved.
Image included is a preview on ver 2020.2.4, you can not see the hall page and you can not access the blogs.
When on site the browser shise the code only.

The attached file shows screen capture of the blog index page in website x5 preview.
In ver 16.3 you can see all the blogs.
In ver 2020.2.4 the blogs are not shown.

Ver 16.3 shows the blogs while ver 2020.2.4 does not show the blogs.
The web explorer will show the code and not the B;og page if viewed on server.
Check on the server the version of php should be greater than 7.1, preferably the latest version available

The problem seems like there is no link between the blog titles and the blog content.
I can not access it from within website X5 ver 2020.2.4
Look at the attached file, it has 2 screen captures of the preview builtin website x5. One with ver 16.3 and the other is with ver 2020.2.4

I started a new project from blank temple. It seemed OK at first, but after I added more blogs ( about 5) I had the same problem in ver 2020.4.2 preview.

From the way you described the problem, I would definitely assume that v2020.2.4 should have fixed your issue.
If it didn't, it might be a different issue than the currently known one.
Would it be possible for you to upload your v2020 website in a subfolder of your domain so that I might test it online for you?

Please look ate the attched file (ziped). it has to screen captures of the preview of the same project frome with in website x5.
As you can see they are not the same even before I export them.
The preview in website X5 ver 16.3 and also 2020.1.x shows the blogs (5 Blogs) on the left hand side.
The preview in ver 2020.2.4 does not show those blogs, as you can see all the blogs on the left dont show at all.
If you would like I can export the project (from ver 16.3) and send it to you so you can import it into ver 2020.4 and see what is the problem.
P.S.
It is in Arabic, so even though you might not be able to read the text, you can still see the problem by comparing the project in older ver. like 16.3.

This a note to all those who use arabic language or other languages and need there page to be shown with right to left priorty.
when you insert (dir="rtl") in the body tag html under expert for the page, microsoft explorers will output text and images with right to left priorty to the screen.
I had that done for my website as it is in Arabic in all versions up to 16.3, but whe I imprted my project to website X5 ver 2020 it did not work. I tryed it with different explorers and it did not work with anyof them.
I experminted with that for a while and I found that in order for it to work in ver 2020.2.4, you have to enter (dir="rtl") on one line and hit enter so that the curser is on the second line, else it will not work in ver 2020.x.x

Contact your hosting provider and ask them to check the server's ERROR LOG for you. There, the precise error for which this is happening will be shown
