Problem with images when website created in Evo 8 imported into Evo V9

I recently downloaded and installed Evo 9 on a computer which did not have Evo 8 installed on it. I have tried importing a web site created in Evo 8 into the newly installed Evo 9, but the images do not get transferred. I have tried a straight copy of the complete folder and then importing the .bws file, exporting to a disk and then importing and also Optimise and Batch to folder and then importing. The website imports OK apart from needing a few adjustments to the layout of the menu but none of the graphic images are imported. The web site has a LOT of images and I really do not want to reload each image individually as it is going to take many hours.
Advice on how to solve this problem will be much appreciated.

Re the above post, I forgot to memtion that the website was created using Evo 8.0.16, which appears to be the latest version.
Hi Ronald,
I exported a project from the latest Evo 8 according to the rules and imported it into the latest Evo 9. In Windows-Explorer I could see that all folders were exported by Evo 8. After importing into Evo 9, all the pictures were missing. I had to insert every single picture (many of them in text paragraphs) and - after hours of hours of work - everything looked fine. At the last preview, immediately before upload to the web, all pictures were gone.
Well, now I know definitely that I cannot and will not use such a program for a real project. I went back to the latest Evo 8.
Hi Guys!
First of all, did you read this post http://answers.websitex5.com/post/4591 before you started the import/export of your projects? It is very important in order to do this procedure correctly.
Did you by any chance move your files at any stage? You have to be very careful not to change the image file path before/after exporting. Futhermore Ronald, I noticed you are talking about a ''new'' computer, you did not create your Evo 8 project on the same computer as your new Evo 9 therefore you need to make sure that the file path is exactly the same as the one you had in your original project. If you have changed from Xp to Vista for example, the file path could automatically change or your computer user name could be different.
Please check and let me know if I can help you any futher.
Thank you!

Dear Samantha
Many thanks for your information. Re post http://answers.websitex5.com/post/4591 I cannot find any mention that the files must NOT be moved before importing into version 9. I installed version 9 on a separate computer and then moved the files to the new computer as in my original post. I did this just in case the installation of version 9 corrupted or otherwise stopped version 8 working. I have since read that Version 8 and Version 9 can run OK on the same computer. I will now do a full backup of the computer with Version 8 on it, create a recovery point and then install Version 9 to see if Import behaves OK. I will report the results in my next post.
In the meantime, I recommend that the above post is rewritten to make it absolutely clear that the files must not be moved before importing into Version 9.
Dear Ronald,
thank you for pointing it out, we will add it if possible.
I'm not sure you have understood correctly the procedure: please keep in mind that you must not move your project files while working on your project. You can move them from one computer to the other as long as both the programs are up to date and the files are exactly in the same file path. You can not move and delete the program file from your first computer before you have exported or else it will not find the files during the export procedure.
So the files can not be moved if you also delete them from the first computer or if you also change their name or file path. If you copy them and bring them on your new computer, no problem.
Excuse me if I am repeating myself.
Futhermore, you can installa and use both Evo 8 and Evo 9 on the same computer with no problem at all, I can confirm this. It is very useful when you are import your project into your new version.
Please let me know if I can help you any further or close this post by marking as correct the answer you prefer.
Thank you!
