Reserved Access Log in Page not Opening after Update to Latest Evo Version  en

Hi guys

Just updated to v2020.3.4 and all good other than when I tried to access the members section of the web site no log-in page opened, just a blank white page.

I can't say that this has only happened since the update as I've not been into the membes area for a while before updating.  The access has been working OK before and the set up seems to be OK.  It is just that the log-in page is not opening.

Thanks for your prompt reply paul.

I've not had the pop-up (or anything else) shown in your links but I'll contact the server provider.

Thanks for your help.

It might not be the PHP version which is at fault, Graham, but it could be the PHP configuration.

Please let us know how you get on.

In the first link it says:

Websites created with WebSite X5 are compatible with Windows and Linux servers. Only for some advanced functions, PHP 7.1 and MySQL 5.6 are also required.

Does the correct operation of restricted access pages requre both, or just the PHP 7.1?

You need both PHP and MySQL for restricted access pages to work correctly, Graham.  The user details including the login credentials are stored in a MySQL database (if you are using Automatic Registration).

I have just noticed you are using Evo, so you will be using Manual Registration only.

In this instance the locked pages don't require MySQL.

Hi Paul

You were dead right.  Host said that our server was not at PHP 7.XX and they sorted it out.

Our reserved access now works just fine.

this can now be closed.  Thank you.
