Sidebar Buttons missing - only a Hamburger appears

I just imported my EVO V12 into the new EVO 2021.1.4. One of the issues I have found is that in the large viewpoint my "sidebar" buttons have disappeared and replaced with just the little Hamburger icon. How can I get my sidebar buttons back? I have attached an image showing my current website with the blue menu buttons. But on the preview of the new version, only the little Hamburger icon appears (and when you click on it you get the menu). But I think I want my original button menu to show up in this view.. My template structure for the 1280 is set at "Header, Footer and Left Side Bar." Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The hamburger menu always appears if there is insufficient space for the text and/or buttons. You will be able to see the full menu if you go to step 2, template structure, select side bar and make it wider.

Thank you for the quick reply. I changed the width of the sidebar to 400. I am still only getting the hamburger. See photo below. All of my menu items appear when I click on the hamburger, but I prefer to have the buttons. Do I need to make them again? And if so, where do I do that?

I hiave been working on this and using the attached menu to try to get my sidebar menu to appear. I read that there is supposed to be a list of objects to choose from for the image, but I cannot seem to find it. All my menu items appear when I click on the Hamburger, but will not appear in the side bar. Do I need to relink them somehow?

And here is what the preview looks like. The sidebar is highlighted gray, but nothing appears.
Charlene, according to your screen shots the side menu is only set to 200px (which should be enough I would have thought).
Make the side menu much wider (step 2 template structure) - does it appear?
When you look at it in step 2, template content, sidebar, what do you see?
When upgrading WX5 make an image of the menu buttons, these may be causing issues.
I recommend:-
In a copy of your website (open WX5, open project, highlight the project and select duplicate), now open the copy or original and go to step 2, template content. Select sidebar and delete the exising menu. Now place a new menu object in the sidebar and drag and stretch so it fits inside the sidebar. Once you drag it big enough for the content you will see the words.
If this meets your requirements double click the menu object and you can add background, button colour, border etc.
PS since you are making many changes which affect the whole project, please visit step5, export project often. This will create an iwzip (complete backup) which can be renamed at time of creation (I add date). Many of the changes you need to make to your project as you upgrade it push WX5 very hard - an iwzip is the only safe backup - the built in backup leaves much to be desired.
