After deleting an image file from project and putting it one more time it receives additional letters (eg. file_ca1acf7o.jpg instead of file.jpg). In long-time project there are many such files. I'd like to have a file named file.jpg. How could I do it: by myself or could you do it? It is not good for seo to change files' names.

If the same image with the same name is used multiple times in the project, WX5 must distinguish this, so the name supplements.Since each image is independently present in the project, this is mandatory for possible adjustments. You can avoid it by paying attention to each inserted image has an individual name.
Another way is to load images that are used several times separately to the server and to integrate with the link as an external image.

If i put the image a few times - i understand. But if i deleted it and put one more time then its name should not be changed.
Hello Andrzej
This can depend greatly on the current condition of the project.
When you delete the file, perhaps it remained online or in the project folder. So the software cannot store a new one because one already exists.
As of now, I'm afraid that there is no easy way out of this so I would simply suggest changing the name of the image should you wish to have the file named in a very specific way or make sure to delete the file completely from the project folder under Documents
Thank you

According to my knowing it is a problem present in the programm for years, but I need a clear project even without any pictures and then put all pictures in simple, Seo friendly names. How could i do that?

Simple deleting all pictures, saving project and open one more time doesn't work. All pictures are added with additional letters.
Hello Andrzej
The best way to clear a project completely of all old data, is simply to recreate the project.
Considering this might take some time, it is not always advisable. However, in those cases where it might become vital, there is a procedure I can recommend to make this faster and easier
First of all, proceed to create a new project.
Once this is done, open another instance of the program in order to have the program open twice with the new project on one side and the original one on the other.
At this point, you can copy the pages from Step 3 of the original project to the new project. After doing this, check that all the contents of the page appear
By doing so, you can transport the pages into the new project without having to recreate the project from scratch and consequently removing the leftovers in the project that cause the creation of these old files, which unfortunately can no longer be removed from the original project.
Pay attention to one detail. When you "Copy" to a page from the original project, you will find that hovering the mouse in the new project window you will not be able to "Paste". This is due to the fact that to enable the "Paste" button when you do this to move pages from one project to another with two programs open at the same time, you should first copy and paste any page into the new project.
At this point, the "Paste" button will be enabled and the program will be able to recognize the "Copy" command even if it comes from a second program window opened with another project
Try this out and keep me posted

If I would like to do it in such way first I have to delete all pictures from galleries, the same all pictures from image objects. I suppose you have tools for doing it quicker than deleting step by step, gallery after gallery, image after image...
Hello Andrzej
No, you do not need to delete anything from the project.
Just copy the pages as described and you should get the result
Try it out and let me know if it works. If any steps of the guide specifically aren't clear enough, let me know here so that I might help you out
Thank you
