Hi,

I just read this post: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/234816#7

The problem is that until now there's absolutly no way to handle this HUGE problem natively.

Portuguese Fiscal laws are very strict and turns WebsiteX5 ILLEGAL since it does not comply with EU Tax laws.

Please, fix this asap. It's not an "IDEA", it's a "legal requirement"!

Thank you and keep the good work!

Hi Esach,

The problem is not that VAT EU rules have changed this year... To be honnest, I have 6 accountants working at my company and this problem exists at least since 2008.

Most shopping  platforms always ignored that problem, who leads for billions of euros paid stupidly because users pay VAT twice or can't buy without VAT to pay it on destination country.

So the problem is not new at all. EU just wanted to force every platform to be compliant with these rules.I understand that platforms coded outside EU can ignore it for that long, but Incomedia ia an Italian company, right?

So, I'm really sorry to say that because I love Websitex5, but there's absolutly NO POSSIBLE EXCUSES!

Please, don't get me wrong but for creating shops, X5 is actually illegal and useless because none of my clients want a VAT no compliant shop...

Regards.

@ All

This one and similar issues forced me (& my company) to run away from WSX5.

Did I wanted to do that after I have spent hundreds of hours learning the program and hundreds of hours writing posts similar like this one?

Heck, NO!

But, we had the following options:

A. Lose clients and not getting any work;

B.  Switching to something else...

It's a shame that Incomedia - generally speaking - is not reacting (promptly enough) on genuine & important requests of its users... ...especially on the issues which are making this piece of software basically useless for almost any webshop related project in EU...

+100 for Sinisa,

Other users, read my last comments about this issue and others and the delay to fix them...
customers needs or regulations are not prioritized... and always ... no date to inform us !!!
