Need further clarification on 'Tag Title', 'Tag Keywords' etc  en

Could you please enlighten me (in Map>>Page properties>>SEO) the differences between 'Tag Title", 'Page Title', 'Tag Keywords' and 'Tag Description'?

I read the 'How to manually set tag title...' many times but don't quite get the relationships and how to properly fill them in.

1. What are they used for?

2. What is their relationship to each other?

3. And please show me some examples what to put in?

4. When someone does a Google search, which two sets of information is needed most and what about the two other remaining info?

An explanation of how they relate to each other and their importance would greatly influence how we create the page contents.

Thanks

Franz Josef,

Thank you for responding, but the guide you suggested, I have read several times as I have mentioned on my 2nd sentence.  It just tells you how or what to do but does not answer the questions I am asking.

Would appreciate clarification and explanation.

Thanks again

Hello Sam

I'll try to provide insight into each question

1_ These fields are used to provide information to both your users and web crawlers about the actual content of your website. In short, the search engine will use this information to understand your website and display it when specific searches are made by users on Google. (For example, if the search "hammer and nails" and you used those words in the Description you're more likely to be found)

2_ There is no real relationship between each other. Each of them does its own thing and contribute to the general SEO of the website

3_ This greatly depends on what the content of your website is. There is no general rule for this so I can only advise looking up online SEO suggestions on how to structure these texts in order to get the most out of them. Keep in mind that the software only provides the tools to make good SEO, but writing the correct texts is an entirely different thing for which specific SEO companies exist

4_ I would recommend filling them all in with care. Although the title is probably the most important, Google will look at all of them

5_ These options can remain disabled if you're okay with what the software wrote automatically. In case you want to write your own text, you can enable these

I remain available here

Thank you

Stefano
