I am running Incomedia Website X5 Evo 2021.2.8

My website is www.wantageprobus.org

Whenever I amend the website and upload the new version, users are unable to log in to locked pages. The error message is "Wrong username and/or password". NB this is when I have not changed any usernames or passwords.

I have discovered that if I open the project and go into site map creation and access the a locked page, then go to the "locked page" screen and make a simple change that this cures the problem. The simple change might for example be to remove access from all groups and users and then reinstate them all again.

I suspect there might be a bug somewhere?

Hello. Press the CTRL Key and, without releasing it, press the preview button.
Delete all site files from the hosting and re-upload it.
After that, try to check the log in.

I do not quite understand what you mean by "Delete all site files from the hosting". Perhaps you could expand on that a bit.

Are you talking about data files, e.g. pdf files etc. or are you talking about the actual application files?

I  have  placed  an  awful  lot  of data files  on  my  web  host  location.  The  site  would  not  work  without  them,  so  presumably  you  mean  that  I should  refresh  them  all  with  new  copies?  Or do  you  mean that  I  should  re-load  all  of  my  application  files  whether  they  have  been  changed  or  not.

In other words are we talking about the upload options on this screen? Or do you you think that I should upload all of my data files again?

"Are you talking about data files, e.g. pdf files etc. or are you talking about the actual application files?" - I'm talking about all the files of the site on the hosting.

"I have placed an awful lot of data files on my web host location. The site would not work without them, so presumably you mean that I should refresh them all with new copies? " - yes, delete and re-upload them to the hosting.

"In other words are we talking about the upload options on this screen? Or do you you think that I should upload all of my data files again?" - yes, you should upload all of your data files again.
