Will The Name https://a-j.websitex5.me/ Be Appended To My Migrated Websites?  en

Hello,

If and when I decide to migrate a website to X5 hosting will there be any indication within the url or any other that the website is hosted by Website X5? Becuase at this moment the url default given in the preview version has your name written all over it "https://a-j.websitex5.me/"

Any clarification on this would be much appreciated and help to aide my decision as to how quickly I'll start to migrate sites as I feel more comfortable as to how things are working.

I uploaded a test migrated site in the preview version to the above domain so I don't know why or how it (folders, files, albeit, The Website) just up and vanished on me.

I will say right now that a test message that I sent from a migrated site within the preview version was sent directly to the email junk folder, and I don't want it there, I need it in the inbox please.

I'd really like the baby here, not the labor pains. Thanks in advance.

"... will there be any indication within the url or any other that the website is hosted by Website X5?"But you can add your domain. Go to the menu at the top right, select the menu item "My Webhosting section". And click the "Access>".

"I will say right now that a test message that I sent from a migrated site within the preview version was sent directly to the email junk folder, and I don't want it there, I need it in the inbox please." - it might be related to the test domain. After adding your domain, you can use the site mail with your domain. This can reduce the incidence of spam emails from your site.

Hi there!

Thank you for getting in touch.

a-j.websitex5.me is the automatic domain which is included with WebSite X5 Hosting.

If you want to change domain, you can buy one from another provider, as we unfortunately don't provide second levels domain ourselves yet, then you can set up a redirect by following this guide: https://guide.websitex5.com/en/support/solutions/articles/44002248715

Thanks! Kind regards.

Have already done this thanks, but not looking to migrate any sites at this moment as mentioned already.

"it might be related to the test domain"

Yes, this is why I mentioned it in the first place, thanks.

"After adding your domain, you can use the site mail with your domain."

Yes, of course.

"This can reduce the incidence of spam emails"

Yep, it just might.

"from your site"

Ohh I see, thanks for the clarification there.
