I am using version 17 of X5 Pro and in the last week or two have started getting this error message when I try to upload updates to the site:
Selected server or destination folder does not match the website URL given in general settings. Do you want to set it now?
I noted the responses to others who had this error, saying to ignore. I did this and while it appears to work it hasn't uploaded any of the new pages I had created or amended. I have not changed the destination folder or bought SSL hosting.
Website is www.hartley-kent.org.uk
Grateful for any help!

Did you refresh browser after update, try ctrl-F5 online with your browser and see if changes appear.

Thanks for the reply Andre. Alas refreshing the website has no effect. I also tried typing in the name the system would have given to one of the new pages, but I got a 404 not found message.
The website is updated this morning, so the updates should be online.
Acces the website not by favorites but by the link from x5 after update or through the menu, let me know if that has helped.

Andre. Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry, when I clicked on the link after the updates uploaded the webpage is still missing the amended pages. Is there something else that can be done? Many thanks
Can you tell me what you have updated and what is not online? a page or an adjustment.

http://www.hartley-kent.org.uk/index-4.html should also have a new link to the document. It works in preview (see document "Preview") but not when I try to load the site. Yesterday I tried loading the site again and I saw the Jasper document go through, but it doesn't appear on the live site.
Many thanks
Peter
Side looks good.
That page with the new link has not been updated sinds 1 november, do you have the option export last files set to on in step5?
Try else a full upload!

I tried full upload and still those files have not uploaded, I'm afraid.
Don't be, it can't be very difficult, we need to find out where it fails, as long as you have your project save there is no need to be afraid.
You could check with your webhost provider, maybe they have a clue why update is not showing up?
Else i coulld also take a look with you using teamviewer for instance. But i think a check with your webhost might be helpfull.

Andre - Many thanks, I've raised a support ticket with the webhost, I'll let you know what they say. There may be a glitch there because the control panel says my website has not used any file space at all.
It's my best guess at the moemnt as well. nobody else has these problems so it's very unlikely that x5 is at fault. Maybe you need other credentials for logging on (maybe your host has changed this) I just don't know....
Let's wait for there responce, thanks for the update, keep me/us updated.
Good afternoon
Could you please let me have here a screenshot that shows how you configured the website's URL in Step 5?
I will try to look into this for you in order to understand what could be generating the problem
Keep me posted here
Thank you
Stefano

Good news! You were right about the host being the issue. I checked with them and they told me that my hosting package had been upgraded, apparently this changed the IP address for the server I upload the webpages to. I've published the files again and the missing pages are now available.
Thank you for all your help.
Peter
