I have reinstalled vers 9 evo but cannot load my project as file corrupt.

I have a folder containing Preview,Upload,backup.iwprj,metadata, preview and project.iwprj

I have tried to follow a previous post to start a new project and then export and overright the project.iwprj file, but there is no files other than a single iwzip file that is not a folder.

How do I use the files I have to reinstate my projects please?

In simple steps & terms please.

Thank you

Hi David B. and  Nadeem Shakir,

please go in step 0 "Preferences" and you will see the path of your  "projects folder". There you will find the folder containing Preview,Upload, backup.iwprj, metadata, preview and project.iwprj.

Ou should cancell al of those files and copy the backup.iwprj. After taht rename backup.iwprj into project.iwprj in order to restore the backup files.

Kind Regards,

Noemi

Thank you Noemi,

I have tried that, butwhen I try t import the project, I browse to the folder with project.iwprj in it, but the file cannot be seen. Although I can see it plainly in file explorer.

I take it that I am supposed to import the project file in step 2 project selection.

Kind Regards

David

Hi! Please rename the file into ''project.iwprj'' and import it in the ''project selection'' section, then let us know if you still have the same issue.
Thanks!

David! Your program isn't up to date! Just saw that now! This is probably the reason why you are having problems. Please update and let me know what happens. If you where working with the old version also on your old computer the error could pop out again.

Hi Samantha,

I set the evo9 installation on old computer with update, and files I have are from updated evo9 project (Feb 2012).

I installed evo9 and to be honest thought I did update it, I saw an update was available , but presumed it was another further update so didn't want to use it in case it caused problems with the backup.

Now updated, but same problem still exists, see screen shot.

Best Regards

David
