How do I change the sender of contact form submission confirmations?

When a visitor sends the contact form, they do receive an email confirmation (as they should) but the sender is from a *** while it want it to be our customer service email.
The correct email has been specified in the settings of the contact form and I don't know where the above email address is picked from.
Any ideas?

The mail address was made unrecognizable with *** by the forum.
Was it the domain email address that shows up?
Should a Gmail or other email address be displayed?
emails are ALWAYS sent with the address specified in
