Blog slow also unable to access control panel  en

Uploaded my website recently and it's working fine except for the Blog.

Click on Blog in the menu and do not get a response for 2 minutes then the article appears.

Click on expand and it takes just as long for the full contents to appear.

Also, I am unable to reach the Admin control panel: Enter my login credentials, press enter and after long delay I get...Analytics: Cannot connect to database.

Obviously I need to isolate the problem to either wx5 or the hosting provider.

So if you can assure me please to the best of your ability the problem is not wx5 I will raise the issue with the hosting provider.

Thanking you in advance,

Jim

With the first click on "Blog" the entry appeared immediately. When I tried it a second time, it takes a long time, so it's not because of WebSite X5, it's either the web hosting provider.

Which PHP and MySQL version is set by the web hosting provider?

Who is the web hosting provider?

WebSite X5 can also work with PHP 8.0 (recommended) and 8.1, maybe give it a try.

When I go to the website and click on "Blog", the blog page sometimes appears quickly and sometimes it takes a long time. And if you want to call up the blog post, it takes a long time, so I stop.

Perhaps the moderators or the Incomedia staff can analyze the blog pages and offer tips. Otherwise it is up to the web hosting provider and they have to solve the problem.

Hello Jim

The issues seems related to the error you get:

Analytics: Cannot connect to database.

You probably configured a Database in the project with incorrect credentials. On certain pages, the website tries to connect to the Database and remains stuck performing several attempts until it finally fails, letting the page move on

Can you try checking the Database credentials in the software or attempt to remove it temporarily to see if it works then?

I remain available here

Stefano
