The day before yesterday i used the program normal. Yesterday i tried to start (by double click on icon on desktop, or on exe file in windows explorer) but the program won't start.
Put off firewall, same result. After double click on icon the is for a short time time a waiting cursor, then it vanished comes back for a second and thats it. Nothing else happens it just stays dead..

Also turned pc off and rebooted, same result program will not start.

Possibly reinstall the WebSite X5 program.

To do this, click on the user name in the top right corner and then select "My Profile", here you will find the download and license key.

Maybe it's because of Windows, was there an update or was another program (e.g. firewall, antivirus program or similar) installed?

Maybe reinstall Microsoft's NET Framework.

Have you ever clicked on "Restart" in Windows? So don't just turn it off and on again.

Probably just a small thing, but which one?

Have you already deleted the licence.iwl file? This can be found under the following path:

C:\Users\ Windows Admin \AppData\Local\Incomedia\

or

C:\Users\ your Windows username \AppData\Local\Incomedia\

It is best to delete everything that is in the Website X5 Evolution folder.

It's getting stranger: Cleaned the total registry of all WebsiteX5 keys.

Downloaded the latest version from Incomedia account, put the file on a local drive, run it:

Setup is starting, telling me the files are going to extract, is see progress counter..... setup window closes and noting further happens....
I am going to find a solution, and let you know...

Hello L.R.

What Daniel indicated is usually exactly the reason for this, but it might be very hard to spot at time. If the software is simply not starting anymore, it means some dependency like .NET or C++ was updated or changed somehow by some update and something must have gone wrong, like it happens so many times unfortunately.

I would advise uninstall the .NET version your currently have install and then reinstalling them. Reinstalling the software too should automatically trigger the installation of the missing .NET dependencies if you don't have them after you uninstall those.

If that doesn't work either, unfortunately we can only recommend a rollback to some previous Windows update or a complete reinstall of the Windows system, which is usually the best way to ensure the entire system is installed and updated correctly

I remain available here

Stefano

well, that took some real pain in the @ss time..
Program finally works again after a Windows cleanup action. My goodness!!
Point is: Only WebsiteX5 didn't work, all other programs had no problem.

And a new Windows installation, as suggestion is like: build al over again...

Anyhow, it works..pfiew.
