Strange message about missing "fonts"  en

Author: Nigel A.

I'm getting the following message everytime I open one of my projects.

Some fonts used in this document have not been linked to the project.

Roboto, Inter

They will be replaced by the Template's default font.

Run the Project Analysis in Step 5 to identify any missing fonts.

I've run WebSite Optimization nothing reported there. I can find nothing called Project Analysis or where Step 5 is! cool

If the named fonts are used but have not been set up, then the error message appears. Presumably these fonts were defined in the template. You can install these fonts later, see

Safe fonts and Web Fonts

...

There are 2 main techniques for using Web Fonts:

  1. use fonts installed on our computer, publishing the font files (in the various formats) on the website's server (see: How to add an Offline Web Font);
  2. use an external service, such as Google Fonts™ (free) or Adobe Typekit (to buy), that offers web fonts that are ready to use, and only need a link in the web page's CSS stylesheets (see: How to add a font from Google Fonts).

I once wrote German instructions for setting up Google Offline Fonts, which would have to be translated by Google if the English instructions from Incomedia were not sufficient, see
