Sending emails from the site is problematic and depends on the capabilities of the web space provider.
Are you planning to add the option of sending email using gmail?
Other website builders also have this option.
This would help customers a lot.
Example:

Hello,
the sender email must be created with the same domain name like *** and not gmail, hotmail or other external services.
For security reason it's better to be sure that the sender is used from the webserver itself because the email sending is done from the provider smtp server and not from other external smtp server (it could be used for spamming, spoofing ...)

The web hosting provider said that php smtp email sending is deprecated and many websites no longer use it.
I thought that it would be good to add this service and the customer can decide which service to use.

And just a reminder, many of our customers have purchased workspace.google.com where they have their domain redirected to google servers.
How to proceed in such a case?
Google has already blocked the possibility of sending smtp from websites.
it's true !
But WebsiteX5 also allows you to configure sending by other methods...
Such as.
AUTHENTICATED SMTP
which is what you need to use for GMAIL
But beware:
1) the provider must also allow sending emails from services other than your own.
2) you have to know how to configure GMAIL well to allow sending from external services...
So, to summarize WebsiteX5 is already hooked up to do this... the rest is up to you...
In WebSiteX5 the domain email address often has to be used, but web hosting providers have the option of forwarding the emails to other email providers.
Example:
mywebsite.com
contact(at)mywebsite.com
contact(at)mywebsite.com >> myname(at)gmail.com
