Recently transferred my domain "thecrumlinnavigation.org" to Incomedia webhosting. I am advised that the domain is active yet the software still shows "Your webspace and domain are being activated" as per screen shot attached.

I am unable, therefore to export the website to the webhosting - please advise

Hi William,

we checked this issue, and it seems there was an error in the DNS, could you please try again, you should be able to upload the website now.

Thanks! Kind regards.

Thank you Elisa - I had previously set up the emails and wondered why they were not being delivered - the error on the email suggested a DNS problem - that has been sorted and emails working correctly.

However I have exported the website using the parameters shown on the screen shot and get the message that the website is now online. However when I check I get the message from Incomedia that the website hasn't been published!

What am I doing wrong - please advise

Hi William,

could you please make some screenshots to show me step by step what you do to publish the website online? I checked thecrumlinnavigation.org and indeed it seems like you still haven't exported it yet.

Thanks! Kind regards.

Good morning,

First I click Step 5 -Export- and then click "Upload the website to the internet".

This takes me to the next screen

I then click Start and I get the following message

I then click "no" and "Start" and the files upload. If I click "Yes" then it just repeats the process.

Also attached is a copy of the folder file after files have been uploaded.

Thanks for looking into this for me.

Hello William,
the destination folder for our hosting is /public_html as in your first screenshot, rather than /
I suggest correcting the folder and exporting again so that the files are in the right path.
Be careful not to make changes outside of /public_html, as this can cause the website to malfunction, so let me know if after exporting you encounter any error, and I will request a reset of the web space.
I remain available.

Eric

Hi Eric and once again thank you for your help. You may recall the problem I had with Paypal. As a result I decided to migrate my domain "thecrumlinnavigation.org" to your goodselves as I was hoping that things would work seamlessly. To complicate matters I am now also updating my computer system over the next couple of days. In the circumstances could I please requset a reset of the website in any case to ensure things all work well. I am not sure when previoulsy trying to export the website whether or not I deleted any files at folder level when trying to get it to work!

Many thanks,

Bill

Hello William,
for the time being I have already deleted the files that were exported outside of /public_html, so you can go ahead and set /public_html as the destination folder and choose to Export all of the website's files.
Let me know if everything works.

Eric
