Creating an Appointment Booking System and cv Timeline on a One-Page Website  en

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out to seek some advice and guidance on a project I'm currently working on. As a data analyst, I'm looking to create a professional one-page website that not only showcases my skills and experience but also provides functionality for visitors to book appointments with me and view my CV in a timeline format.

I've been exploring the capabilities of Website X5, and I'm wondering if anyone has experience using its plugins or native features to implement an appointment booking system and a CV timeline as in my old page. Specifically, I'm interested in:

  1. Appointment Booking System: I'm looking for a solution that allows visitors to select available appointment slots, input their information, and schedule appointments with me. Are there any plugins within Website X5 that can accomplish this, or would I need to integrate with a third-party service?

  2. CV Timeline: I want to present my work experience, education, and other relevant information in a visually appealing timeline format. Are there any plugins or built-in features in Website X5 that can help me create a CV timeline, or would I need to explore custom development?

Any insights, recommendations, or pointers to relevant resources would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards, Valerij

1. Appointment Booking System

There are external providers for appointment bookings, where you receive a code that you insert into the WebSiteX5 page and an appointment booking window is displayed.

In my post I introduce the provider “Timify”. Its website is available in different languages, see the globe symbol. There are also free plans for booking appointments here.

I haven't tested the provider myself yet because I don't need any appointment bookings.

2. CV Timeline

There are 3 paid objects in the marketplace for 18 credits each.

For the site www.mindcare.nz I integrated Vcita, which is a full appointment/payment system that works pretty well. It's not free (or cheap) however. Calendly has a free option that might suit you.

Vcita has a direct Wordpress plugin that, of course, is not useful for X5 but they also offer the code to insert a link to their service and that works pretty well. I think that there used to be a Bookeo optional object available for X5 but not sure if this is still available or if that service is what you need.
