How do you make the image list in the Row Formats responsive  en

Hello

I have found that the images that scroll from the image list in the Row Format section do not seem to be responsive. Is there anyway that this can be done as it would save having to resize all the images width and height to fit the Gallery slider?

If there is no way it can be done then perhaps it could be considered as an idea/suggestion for the development team to look into.

Regards

Ross

I don't have a smartphone to test it with, but it's responsive in the simulation in Firefox.

Is this image gallery on the portfolio page?

Thanks Daniel. The one you mention there I used the Gallery object as a slider which required me to resize all the images used to be the same size width and height, where as in the Row formats section you can just seem to fit the area selected. I guess I am just being a bit lazy!!!

I have now created a test page with the gallery and used the free images from Pixabay in different width-height ratios. The small images are all the same size from WebSiteX5 and the large images are all the same height but different widths.

WebSiteX5 obviously calculates the width-to-height ratio so that even the widest image still fits into the browser window. I don't mind that the large images are displayed at different widths.

The main thing is that there are no differences in the height of the large and small images and therefore no jerking when changing images.

I don't know if I understood the problem correctly. Or is something else meant?

Thanks again Daniel.

Yes, I might look at that as a good option. Appreciate the effort you have gone to for this.

Have a nice day.

Kind regards

Ross
