Will I renew my Pro license?
Author: Donald B.Alright, let’s talk about this. I have tried a couple of other programs. Why, because I do not need a blog or a shopping cart. The other one I’m talking about this post cost $50 US and does everything I need it to do. You don’t need any breakpoints either, set your max page width and its fluid from there down. Any extra objects/extensions have been free, so far. (I have asked for the Evo version to be the same as Pro except stripped down of all the extras you don’t for a basic website. I use FileZilla to upload.)
So, I have two sites exactly the same with 16 main pages, button menus at the header and footer. A few images and lots of text. Breakpoints range, 1078 to 664 using all ten in WS X5. Here is the size of the HTML files to upload to your host.
Website X5 with 91 folders and 219 files: 18.1 MB
Other program with 1 folder and 41 files: 1.61 MB
Yes, those numbers are correct, that is not a mistake.
My license expires at the beginning of February, will see, I may renew to keep as backup.
In the meantime, I’m trying another program the has everything including the kitchen sink but a steep learning curve because of so many options. But you can open it with Windows, Linux or Mac. (Thinking about Linux. Sorry windows 11, you cannot have my firstborn to make an account.)

Sorry, a senior moment. That should be 26 folders with X5 not 91.

As you know, the good news is that WX5 will continue to run without renewal for as long as you wish or at least until techniques and protocols rule out the use of your software (which should take many years), but you will have to live without generated AI text.
